Cambridge Quilters hold two meetings each month at the Meadows Community Centre, 299 Arbury Road, Cambridge, CB4 2JL and Grantchester Village Hall, Cambridge, CB3 9NG.
The group was founded in the 1970s and has over 80 members. Our membership is inclusive and ranges from absolute beginners to professional quilters, with their work ranging from traditional to modern quilting and everything in between. Our members are passionate about what they do and are a real community helping each other to achieve their quilting ambitions.
Please contact the chair@cambridgequilters.com if you wish to join us or just come as a visitor
We hold workshops throughout the year with four planned in 2025 including Nicholas Ball, Mary McIntosh, Emma Shilling and Megan Manwaring.
Would you like to become part of the Cambridge Quilters community and join like minded people with a passion for quilting?
All abilities welcome. Unlike many groups we don't come together to 'sew', whilst we sometimes have a 'hands on' meeting we generally have invited speakers on a range of textiles topics.
We are a community of quilters who love to share our passion for quilting with each other. Here are some of us at our of our Summer Supper events. Come and meet us!
