Challenges for Members 2024-2025

Every year we set challenges for our members to enable them to come together creatively. This allows members to try new techniques, work with different fabrics and to share learning with others. The challenge year runs from March until February the following year when we will have a show and tell at the start of 2025. Here all the details:

For presentation at the July 2024 summer supper members voted for the theme "Bright and Beautiful".  This can be anything from a small wall hanging to a cushion or bag or even placemats. You can interpretate the theme anyway you like.  This is not a competition. Whatever you submit, either in person or via email by the deadline of 10th July, your name will be placed in the 'reward draw' and three participants will receive a sewing gift.
 
For February 2025 the main challenge theme members have chose the brief   “Black & White plus one other colour”.  Black and white can encompass grey tones. 

If it suits you, feel free to collaborate with a fellow member or even form a small group.
