MEETINGS HELD ON THE SECOND WEDNESDAY OF EACH MONTH

AT THE MEADOWS COMMUNITY CENTRE 299 ARBURY ROAD CAMBRIDGE CB4 2JL

Tea/Coffee from 6.45pm with time to socialise. Speaker at 7.15pm until about 9pm. Free parking at the Centre for members

 

 8 April: Annie Folkard - My Quilting Journey and the Nancy Crow Experience Quilts inspired by colour.

 

13 May: Hilary Jane - My Journey into Hand Stitched Quilts

Hilary’s journery into hand stitched quilting highlighting designs and inspiration.

 

10 June: The Handbag Collection

A selection of mini quilts made by The Quilter’s Guild Miniature Quilt Group, includes challenges, competition entries and others made just for the fun!

 

8 July: Summer Supper and reveal of the July Challenge 

Bring some party food and your Summer Supper Challenge for a show and tell.

 

9 September: Foundling Hospital  

Talk about the collection of fabrics and tokens left with babies in the care of the Foundling Hospital, the UK’s first children’s charity.

 

14 October: Highlights from FOQ : Marion Curtis shares a photographic review of this year's stand out exhibits at the Festival of Quilts at NEC 

 

11 November: Colettte Johnson from the Cambridgeshire Modern Quilt Guild: It's What's Inside that counts-batting demystified. How to choose the best batting for your project. 

 

9th December: Christmas Social: bring and share with a festive Show and Tell.
